COUPLES IN CONFLICT
Saturdays from 11– 4 pm - December 12
This workshop is an opportunity for couples to gain intimate insight into
their continuous repetitive patterns of arguments and to use that insight
to strengthen the relationship.
This is a practical skill-building workshop that offers couples clear techniques
to break negative patterns. Couple therapy is recommended as an adjunct or
follow-up to this workshop to gain the most benefit.
What couples can expect:
- Intimate insight: Each workshop is limited to 4 couples to offer personalized
feedback and guidance that couples can begin to immediately put into practice,
and take home with them.
- Experiential learning: The workshop is a mix of role-plays, experiential
exercises, meditation and relaxation exercises designed to allow couples
to connect through mind, body, and soul.
- The couple’s dance: Learning the repetitive cycle each couple
is engaged in that continues to produce the same destructive outcome
- An understanding of what you are really fighting about: This workshop
aims to uncover needs and wants that went unmet in our childhood and the
pain that our bodies continueto relive. Our emotional memory is present
in every argument, sometimes driving it, often keeping us from actually
getting the love and intimacy we need from our partners.
- Easy to use techniques: Couples will use in the workshop, and take home,
skills to stop the destructive arguments and to consciously relate, creating
safety and connection.
We need to remember that sharing our
lives with another person may have been founded on love, but needs the hard
work of being able to compromise and enter into difficult dialogue with
our partner, to grow into a lasting connected and satisfying relationship.
The cost per couple is $195. Registration
is accepted online via Paypal.
