Creating Healthy Couples

A weekly communication skills group to help couples restore intimacy, connection, and safety.

Every Tuesday, 7-8:30pm

One day we look at our partners and ask ourselves – how did we end up this way? Our relationships start out full of love, curiosity, and promise. Somewhere along the path, we lose focus and find ourselves in patterns of conflict that we just can’t seem to break.

This group is designed to help couples restore the strength and vitality their relationship once had, and show them how to create a conscious partnership focused on valuing each other’s experience. We break through destructive patterns, deepen the emotional connection, restore intimacy, and show couples how to become responsive to one another.

We will identify strengths that can be utilized to problem solve and create healthy ways to communicate, to gain deeper insight as to why we communicate the way we do, and to explore how old patterns or assumptions may be blocking expression of the appreciation, respect and caring we have for our partners. Building on the knowledge and resources of other members of the group, we will expand our communication skills and discover new, healthy ways of approaching and resolving conflict.
