Our family therapy services aim to improve the quality of family life
through nurturing, supportive therapy.
There are many transitions in the family life cycle that present challenges
(having children, adolescent and teen years, aging parents, illnesses,
loss, divorce, financial struggles), and families can often get stuck
with one or more member, causing extreme distress and symptomatic behaviors.

Our approach to family therapy looks at the family
as a whole. Our clinicians are trained to identify the dysfunctional
interactional patterns of the family. We look at the current structure
of the family to see how it is organized, and misaligned.
We aim to create a healthy hierarchy where the parents are united in
their parenting approach and provide consistent rules and expectations
for children to follow. We help parents set boundaries around giving,
and teaching responsibility.
We help parents listen to the needs and wants of their children without
judgment, criticism, and stonewalling. We aim to restore children’s
faith and trust in their parents’ ability to be responsive.
We help create connection, trust, and safety within the family system
to foster parents’, own ability to successfully navigate life’s
challenges and transitions.
